I really love the topic of jewelry, whether we are talking about mens diamond rings, gold chains, mens diamond earrings or whatever. I once owned a pair of titanium earrings and I was delighted with them. They were dangly but light as a feather. A new article just posted today, July 30, 2010, in PRWeb, titled: Post-Recession Consumer Spending Targets “New Practical” tells of a truly interesting new trend in jewelry..
The article says that Industry sources such as the National Jeweler say jewelers have to change their lines to meet the changing desires of consumers and the changed economy.
Visit PRWeb and check out the titanium black diamond ring. It is edgy and good-looking. Apparently the new fashion in jewelry is smart and unusual, rather than conventional and expensive.
The article cites the National Jeweler and other industry sources as saying that consumer spending indicates a trend towards less expensive but more exotic and practical jewelry purchases.By the way if you need to purchase Mens Diamond Rings or a gold chain, diamond hoops or diamond watches or hoops then I can suggest this fine store. In addition, they feature some other terrific items such as for example Ladies diamond ring, 10K Gold Chains & Necklaces, 10k Gold Pendants and mens diamond earrings as well.
Jewelers, according to the article, are reporting a demand for the more conventional cubic zirconia, alloyed metals and other less expensive materials – basically jewelry that is similar to traditional jewelry but without the high cost. It is noted that more savvy buyers are selecting more unusaul options like titanium. My personal favorite jewelry happens to be Mens Diamond Rings as well as gold chains in general.

Settlement Loans Offer Financial Support While Involved in a Lawsuit
If you are involved in a personal injury lawsuit, you may need the money you expect
to win now. Waiting for months or even longer for your case to settle may not be an
option for you; today, settlement loans make it possible for those finding
themselves in a tight financial situation to get money immediately, so that they can
pay household bills, medical expenses and even perhaps avoid facing bankruptcy.
Litigation funding companies make this possible, and there are no out-of-pocket
expenses to you whatsoever.
Personal injury lawsuits often take a long time to settle. Insurance companies will
try their best to persuade you to settle for less than you deserve, and you may be
tempted to do that when you are desperate for money. Settlement loans let you get
the money you need within 24 hours if you qualify. This money is offered by
litigation funding companies against the money you expect to win in your lawsuit.
There are no monthly payments to worry about, so it won’t add an additional burden
to you every month. If you are approved, you simply repay the money when you have
your settlement money in hand. If things don’t go your way and you do not win, you
owe nothing.
How do settlement loans work? An application is required, which your attorney can
fill out. This application pertains to your lawsuit, and the litigation financing
company will review your particular situation to determine if you qualify for a cash
advance. If you do, you get your money that same day, so that you can pay all of
those obligations that are piling up. This will alleviate much of the stress you
are under, so that you can focus on winning your lawsuit. Depending on how much you
expect to win, you may be eligible for a cash advance of anywhere from $250 to
$250,000 and more.
If you are the main income provider in your family and are unable to work due to
your injuries, you need help in order to pay your debts while pursuing justice.
Many plaintiffs find themselves on the verge of bankruptcy, which is one thing you
absolutely want to avoid. With settlement loans, you can pay those household
expenses, medical costs and attorney fees so that you can live comfortably while
waiting for your lawsuit to settle.
Litigation funding companies are in business primarily to help litigants involved in
personal injury lawsuits who find themselves having financial difficulties. You can
learn much more online about settlement loans, or talk to your lawyer to see if
he/she believes a loan may be beneficial in your situation.

Kauai Designated as Hawaii’s Best Island and Second only to Galapagos Islands According to Travel + Leisure Magazine
If you’ve ever been to Kauai you can understand why Travel + Leisure Magazine named it the best destination in Hawaii and second-best island destination in the world. No wonder the real estate over there is so expensive, as it is on Oahu, especially when it comes to vacation rentals, time shares and such. The fantastic Galapagos Islands took the world’s number one slot—and that’s not surprising either. All in all, this news should be good for the kauai vacation rentals which like it;s counterpart on Oahu, helps to drive the overall real estate market and bring in a lot of revenue to the state as a whole.
The Kauai Visitors Bureau was more than happy to herald the news today following the announcement on this morning’s “Today Show” when Travel + Leisure presented the outcome of its yearly World’s Best Awards, which are the result of reader surveys and predicated on five traits that include natural attractions, activities and sights, restaurants and food, people, and value.
The story appeared on the Travel Video News’s website under their ‘The World On The Web’ column. TVN called Travel + Leisure Magazine “one of the world’s most highly regarded…(overall).”
Oahu is still a major destination for tourists, esecially Waikiki. Incidentially if you need a good Oahu Real estate agent take a look at this Sotheby’s website.Sue Kanoho, executive director of the Kaua’i Visitors Bureau, was quoted by TVN as saying, “People are touched by the serenity of Kauai…….” For it’s part, the Travel Video News noted that Kauai is known for its fabulous hiking, mountain tubing, kayaking, snorkeling, horseback riding, ATV adventures, aerial zipline rides, and helicopter and boat tours. They reported that golf is one of the main attractions in Kaua’I, and that practically all of the island’s golf clubs and affiliated resorts are rated among the best in their class.
Travel Video News also reported that last month The Grand Hyatt Kaua’i Resort & Spa and the Kaua’i Marriott Resort on Kalapaki Beach were both listed on Conde Nast Traveler’s esteemed list of “Top 80 Golf Resorts,” and that Celebrated Living placed the Princeville Prince Course on its Top-20 U.S. Golf Course list.
Mike McCartney, president and CEO of Hawai’i Tourism Authority was quoted as saying, “Congratulations to the Garden Island…….” Oahu is also big on that particular list as is Mauai.
The Kauai Visitors Bureau claims that Kaua’i golfers are more than satisfied with their experiences on the Garden Isle. But that is just a bonus, in my opinion. It’s the quaint, relaxing, pristine environment, the ethereal beauty, and the overall unspoiled and unpretentious character that people find so unforgettable.

Tourism Looking Up In on Oahu and elsewhere in Hawaii
Here is some good news for the state: Sure seems like the economy is rebounding. People have money to start traveling to Hawaii on vacation, and that would seem to be a definite indicator of disposable income.
Pacific Business News (Honolulu, Oahu) posted a story under the headline; Hawaii’s hotel occupancy up 7.1% last week. The piece was posted on June 18, 2010.
Pacific Business News says that according to an industry report, Hawaii’s hotel occupancy rates last week rose 7.1 percent relative to the same week last year. Real estate has also been picking up in some areas.
PBN cited The Hawaii Hotel Industry Snapshot, which is developed by Smith Travel Research and the Hospitality Advisors as finding that last week’s hotel occupancy was reported at 70.3 percent. This was noted as 4.5 percent better than the national average. Here is a winning Oahu Real estate if you happen to be on the search for some good real estate agent over on that island.
All in all, the article went on to say that Oahu had the highest occupancy rate of 70.3 percent, a healthy increase of 9.5 percent. Maui was noted as having a 69.2 percent occupancy, which translates to a 4.6 percent ride over last year. Kauai actually had the most impressive leap in occupancy, with nearly an 11.3 percent rise, giving the Garden Island a 67.9 percent occupancy rate. The Big Island was a laggard with only 1.1 percent rise, giving it an occupancy rate of 51.3 percent.
The good news for Hawaii travelers is that even as the rooms began to fill, Pacific Business News reports, the state’s average room rate actually dropped to 1.7 percent less than the year prior— to $170.15. Oahu, the most populated island, could really use a bigger boost to it’s real estate market.

In some unfortunate and tragic news coming out of Maryland,
4 term Baltimore Councilman Bryan McIntire was mixed up in a 2 auto traffic accident just a few days ago.

Los Angeles County Office of Traffic Safety Partners to Prevent Injury Caused by Reckless Driving
Reckless driving is one of the most common dangers Americans face. Responsible citizens wonder what can be done to prevent senseless tragedy. All in all, they tend to keep the personal injury attorney firms very busy in many parts of the country, such as Los Angeles.
Jimy Tallal delivered a report Wednesday, May 5, 2010 for the Malibu Times under the headline; Sheriff’s Dept. to increase traffic, DUI patrols. Tallal reports that the Sheriff’s Department has announced that summer patrols, DUI checkpoints and decoy cars will be added to curb reckless driving in the Lost Hills, Malibu area. Also, the citizens group ASPCH plans to launch a safety campaign.
Following a spate of recent fatal traffic accidents, Lost Hills/Malibu Sheriff’s Station Captain Joseph Stephen said Monday that the station has partnered with the Los Angeles County Office of Traffic Safety to secure four additional “DUI saturation patrols” throughout the summer on Pacific Coast Highway to help prevent the fatal personal injury crashes..
The announcement was made by Stephen, along with Lost Hills Sgt. Phil Brooks, during a meeting of A Safer Pacific Coast Highway, or ASPCH, a community-driven group that was formed after the death of 13-year-old Emily Rose Shane last month. Should you need a Los Angeles personal injury attorney then I can suggest this firm and also an accident lawyer as well. They can help with traumatic brain, bike, car, motorcycle and car accident cases in general.
The additional patrols will start on Memorial Day. The joint venture between the Sheriff’s station and the Office of Traffic Safety will also provide backing for two additional DUI checkpoints in Malibu in addition to those already planned. Also, two more black and white decoy Sheriff’s cars will be used in the city commencing this week. The funds come from The Office of Traffic Safety, or OTS, which has grant money that it allocates on a case-by-case basis.
Tallal writes that Stephen reported that the Sheriff’s Department wrote up a staggering 13,000 traffic citations in Malibu during 2009 and has written 2,179 tickets so far this year. Tallal notes that Lost Hills Sheriff’s Deputy John Young alone writes an average of 2,800 tickets per year.
Tallal reports, “The traffic enforcement index for Malibu (the number of hazardous citations for speeding, etc., divided by the number of DUIs and accidents) is “off the chart” compared to other communities, Stephen said.”
The citizen’s group, ASPCH meets every Monday. The meetings are open to the community in order to come up with ways to make the highway safer. Local city and safety officials, as well as Caltrans officials, are asked to speak to members at the meetings.
On Monday, residents wondered if more traffic lights might be installed along the highway, and asked about the possibility of reducing the speed limit.

The Strange Story of the Vindictive Englishman Out to Get His Dentist
I just got back from Bergen County and Hillsdale in Northern new Jersey but I thought it was time to get writing. have a strange addiction to reading overseas news, and I enjoy generally odd or eccentric stories. The recent true tale of the Pembrokeshire, England man, out to get his dentist is a perfect example.
Peter McShane, 84 years old, of Pembroke Dock, Pembrokeshire, appeared at the Swansea Crown Court after confessing to making a phoney bomb.
The elderly man who planted the hoax bomb in a revenge plot against a dentist at the Bush Street dental surgery said he felt the doc had overcharged him. He was billed 183 for dental work done in 2007. Wondering how much 183 is? In U.S. money the amount translates to $282.35.
The judge remarked to Mr. McShane that only his age had kept him out of jail. I think the judge should have given him time for being old enough to know better. Should you be in need of a Bergen County dentist then i can recommend these guys, as they are indeed among the very top dentists in bergen county as well as Emerson, Oradell and harrington park. they are great at teeth whitening, invisalign, etc. Just a good family and cosmetic dentist and they cover old tappan also.
McShanes ticking device, left outside the Bush Street dental surgery in Pembroke Dock, caused a major police operation involving army bomb disposal experts, with streets and homes in the area evacuated.
McShane’s act was caught on CCTV camera and he was compelled to admit being responsible for planting the hoax bomb and vandalism.
In Britain, by the way, security cameras are posted at sites everywhere. They are more common than anywhere in the world. Thats what Terrorists do for society.
In this day and age when bombs and terrorism often strike such fear and panic, old Mr. McShane received only a 34-week suspended jail sentence and a curfew order.
And that wasnt all he did to the Bush dental surgery. He also super-glued locks to the surgery doors, and spray-painted the building with black paint. He stole a plaque.
This is his nature. Hes done other things to punish people who offended him in the past.
For example, he also admitted vandalism against tenants who rented flats from him at Ettrick House in Law Street in the town. He said he burgled one of the flats a decade ago and he stole four radiators.
His barrister (isnt that word quaint—see why I love these stories?), Georgina Buckley, was quoted as saying: “He is now extremely remorseful. He had not fully appreciated what he was doing. Now, he is shocked by his behaviour.”
Judge Keith Thomas was quoted as saying to Mr. McShane that he was a vindictive man
